Where does it start? The location has changed; new location is downtown at 131 S. Vine St. Go north on Vine St, registration in block between Illinois and Progress Streets. (see map) There are many parking locations around the registration location. Terrain: mostly flat to rolling. Perfect for all bicycle types and all riders. Route Info: Shorter loops (approximately 20 and 42, give or take a couple of miles) take you past Amish-owned country stores and shops. Explore longer loops (60 and 100 miles) that takes you through the back roads of the Amish area. Routes are well marked! Rest stops: ample snacks, fruit, drinks, and friendly folks to serve you. Wristbands given at registration are required. Mennonite meal (traditional chicken & noodles, vegetables, homemade bread, pie, and drink) available at additional charge. This is a benefit for the Christian School. See registration form for prices. Camp free Friday and Saturday nights! No reservation needed. Bring the grill if you like; exercise caution in use. Pets must be leashed at all times. Registration info: mail by August 24th and receive the pre-registration discount. Plan ahead and save. Day of ride info: registration opens at 6:30 a.m. 60-mile and 100-mile riders should start by 9:00 a.m. Shorter route riders may register until 10 a.m., when registration will close. Sag service info: sag vehicles will be on the routes until 3 p.m. Breakfast available: Pancake breakfast near registration is being planned. Tee Shirts are available with pre-registration and will be a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester. Ride safely! Bring your bicycle in good working order! Wear a helmet.

The Arthur Visitors
Center 1-800-722-6474 (Downtown Arthur) will be open Friday &
Saturday to help provide you information about the area. There is a lot for non-riders to see & do in the Amish area; There are
plenty of Amish Craft/Quilt, Bakery and don't forget all the Amish Furniture
shops. The Great Pumpkin Patch will also be opening for the season on
this date, with loads of pumpkin types and/or fields for you to pick your
own!! |

Camping Arthur camping - located behind the Arthur High school, has 5 hookup sites with electric power, water, and shower/restrooms. No reservations are taken - First come-first serve. $10.00 per spot, the Police will collect your fee... Note: the night before the ride, tent camping is free around the school/fair grounds areas: lots of grassy sites behind school's south area : football fields. etc. Please be WARNED that Ride-related activities usually begin at 4:30am,even though registration is downtown; EXPECT the noise level to intensify from that time onward!!! Other camping near by.... Arcola Camper stop - Just off I-57 at Arcola (9 miles from Arthur) Hookups & Showers, Open all year. Call 217-268-4616 for more info. Woods Woods - 5 miles east of Tuscola, 1 mile south off US route 36. 80 sites $10.00 per night. Call 217-253-2487 for more info. (20 minutes from Arthur) Sullivan Marina & campground - Across from Sullivan's lake access area & beach.
